Abstract
The article describes historical transformations of ideology as a specific matrix generating symbols, norms and other intellectual products resulting from the interaction of the state and society. In this context, the author describes, furthermore, modifications of ideologies’ functions and textures, explains the emergence of new structures of politics’ ideal sphere, as well as of new mechanisms of its formation when transiting from modernity to the post-modern stage of societal development.
