Abstract

An attempt has been undertaken in the article to outline contours of a new interdisciplinary scientific sphere – geonomics, – departing from ideas of institutional economics and applying by analogy the fundamental notion of transaction. Geonomics is positioned by the author as sphere of methodological and theoretical analysis and at the same time as sphere of developing various applied research undertakings and projects aimed at working out practical strategies in culture, politics, economy, social life. As the most impressive and the most important aspect of geonomics, the author regards the introduction in humane and social discourses, of the idea of cognitive effectiveness of understanding expanse as image and transaction. According to his conclusion, geonomics is capable of becoming in prospect one of topical scientific spheres embracing different humanities and natural sciences (in particular, cognitive studies, neuroinformation science and neurobiology, strategic analysis e.a.).
