Abstract

The author characterizes the institutional methodology of theoretical and empirical investigation of civil activity in the context of the formation and transformation of modern Russia’s institutional order, which is determined as cliquocratical. The article presents the book: “Citizens and Political Practices in Modern Russia: Reproduction and Transformation of Institutional Order” published by the Political Science Association (“RAPN”) on completion of the project: “Institutional Practices and Institutional Milieu: Reproduction and Transformation of the Political Order in Modern Russia”, - realized in 2009 – 2011 by RAPN Committees: by the Institutional Studies Committee and by the Gender Political Science Committee.
