Abstract

It’s the evolution of theoretical issues of social movements that is considered in the article. It is shown in which ways contemporary theoretical analysis «inscribes» these movements into the political and socio-cultural contexts in which they, properly speaking, arise, and how these social movements, in turn, affect the institutional environment, becoming thus a factor of institutional transformation.
