Abstract
This article is based on the results of a research of the attitudes of the Chechen campaign combatants toward counter-terrorism operations received by means of questionnaires. The authors analyze combatants’ views in comparison with perceptions of Russia’s general public opinion. Data of the all-Russia public opinion polls occur to be instrumental for interpreting the results of quantitative research.
