Abstract

In the second article on the “Sovietic” and on the ways of its overcoming, the author seeks to present the answers to a number of interconnected questions: of the nature of the political regime formed in Russia in the post-Soviet period; of the reasons of preservation and of renaissance of the “Soviet substance” in the said period; finally, what means and what strategies could be bringing Russian society to recovery. The author discourses upon comprehension and practical assimilation, by society, of the unique Russian experience of inner overcoming of totalitarianism; upon the drama of the new Russian liberalism that turned disproportionate to the historical tasks which it tried to solve; upon acutest problems of the Russian constitutional transformation. Principal tasks of the present stage of Russia’s political transformation are formulated in the article.
